Microchipping
Microchips allows veterinarians and shelters to find your pet in the event he or she gets lost.
The procedure is simple. The veterinarian or technician injects the microchip under your pet's skin between the shoulder blades. The chip has a unique identification number which must be registered with the AKC Companion Animal Recovery System. Our hospital can assist you with this process.
